What is 1 Switch?

Consider a room with a wall switch near the entrance that controls the bottom receptacle of an electrical outlet in the room. A lamp on a nightstand is plugged into this switched receptacle.  The user can control that lamp from the wall switch by the entrance. However, if the user turns off that lamp via its internal switch, she cannot turn that lamp on from the wall switch. Instead, she must go back to the table lamp to turn it on via its internal switch. Similarly, if the user turns the wall switch off, she cannot light the table lamp with its internal switch; rather, she must move to the wall switch and operate it. 

Any of our products will allow the user to operate the lamp from either the wall switch or the lamp internal switch, no matter how the lamp was last switched. The products require only 30 seconds to set up
